You are part of a crew hand-chosen by Preston Whitmore III, Commander Lyle Tiberius Rourke, and Lieutenant Helga Sinclair to facilitate the discovery and exploration of the lost civilization of Atlantis. The Ulysses, the state-of-the-art submarine, built secretly with the aide of private funding a la Whitmore, is the vessel that shall take you there.
