Though Prince Phillip will soon arrive to deliver the princess from her enchanted slumber, for now she rests peacefully. Her fairy godmothers flit in and out of her lofty tower, sitting by her side and tending to the small fire in the grate. A blue-grey cat sleeps on Aurora's bed, purring.
