Awaiting Mary Poppins
Doubtless the entire Banks family told many about their encounter with a strange, new nanny. She had helped the family solve their problems and reconcile their differences. Many had looked for Mary Poppins to come back and help others, but come she did not. After years of waiting for an easterly wind to bring Mary Poppins out of the clouds once more, the Banks children, all grown up now, again look to the sky for the nanny who had helped them so long ago.
