Enchanted Forest Sunrise
It was too beautiful a morning to stay in bed. That had been clear from the instant you had awakened early that morning in your bedroom in the family tower of the castle, predawn light peeping through the balcony doors and the western sky framed in the window above the dresser glowing a rosy shade of pink. Shedding your nightdress in favor of a shirt and breeches, you had slipped silently out through the living room and down the tower stairs in stockinged feet, cloak draped over one arm and boots in hand. Putting on your boots in the kitchen and making sure the strings of your cloak were securely knotted, you had unlatched the outer door and emerged into a kitchen garden full of birdsong and sunlight. A quick walk brought you to the forest and one of Snow's favorite trees. Now you're stretched out in the cradle of its branches, shirtsleeves rolled up and cloak dangling. Time to let the winds caress your skin and let the forest work its magic.
